My sincere thanks and BIG thank you to Erwin DL4NCF and Luzia DL4NYL , for providing exceptional accommodation and antenna/radio room etc. The predictable, impeccable organization and style of Erwin is second to none, and always provided me with confidence from the initial planning to the return flight. http://www.dx-urlaub.de/english/index.htm Also, a BIG thanks to Ans and Jos of Los Holandeses who provided for absolutely everything from sunrise to sunset. Breakfasts(Thanks Marina!), room service, cerveza, wine, cleaning, excursions, information, Radio License acquisition from Indotel, etc etc. Without the help of Ans y Jos and Erwin this trip would simply not have been possible. The hospitality at Los Hollandeses is quite simply the best I have ever sampled anywhere in the world, and they really are the nicest people you will ever meet. Should you like to visit Dominican Republic I doubt you could make a better choice than to stay here and sample some real Dominican food and local culture in a place that can only be described as a manana paradise on the edge of the world.
